The information literacy of English teachers respectively from near 20 local colleges in Anhui,Hubei and Jiangsu is investigated. Their background information and the relations between the background characteristics and the information literacy are statistically analyzed. The purpose is to find out the factors influencing the information literacy and the ways to improve the capability,to offer the essential assurance for the full application of information and internet technology and to implement the integration of information technology and English curriculum.
