本文应用前人有关实验结果与化学热力学数据、键参数函数探讨了球墨铸铁孕育与球化机理,得出了一些重要的结论:非石墨材料孕育剂的孕育过程,实质上是通过孕育剂的各种成分与铸造铁水中已溶解的碳发生高温下的物理化学作用,而使石墨析出的过程;在孕育剂的作用下,石墨形核过程既包含有均质自发形核,也包含有外来杂质的非自发形核;石墨球化是由于铁水中部分过饱和、高活度的碳形成具有较大比表面能、不稳定、高分散度的乳浊液所致.这些结论在一定程度上能较好地与生产实际相吻合.
