The evolution of ecosystems is a direct indicator of changes in the coupling of the Earth’s spheres. Ecosystems in the transitional history have complex biological connotations. During the process of extinction-remnant-resuscitation, the succession of each taxon follows a certain type of survival. The driving force behind the revival of the ecosystem after the Great Extinction was the newborn and radiation development of the ancestral types produced in the high-pressure environment at the end of the Great Extinction after the extinction immigrants moved to the resurrection type. A comprehensive understanding of the composition and structure of post-extinct ecosystems plays an important role in correctly understanding the geologic transitional period at the geosphere coupling node.
