高中新课程标准要求理解数列的基本概念,包括数列的项、递增数列、递减数列、以及数列的函数特性,但是缺乏求数列的最大最小项的方法系统的介绍,而高三解数列问题时又经常遇到求数列的最大最小项的问题,当数列不是等差或等比数列时,学生求数列最值时常感到困难,无从下手.本文通过实例来剖析这类问题的处理方法.
