今年6月6日,北京人民艺术剧院趁总结近十年工作之机,邀请院外专家帮着总结得失,探讨未来的发展之路。这十年,我国政治、经济、文化都有了很大的发展,剧团工作、艺术思想岂能以不变应万变?北京人艺正是在适应时代的变革中,求得了新的发展,取得了新的进步。但是象北京人艺这样传统丰厚、风格鲜明的剧院,既要继承传统保留特色,又要探索新路求得发展,决非轻而易举之事。在这个问题上,剧院内部意见不尽一致,院外专家座谈会上也同样有不同反映。如何继承与革新,话剧在新时期如何走出一条图生存、求发展的新路,这些问题不仅大家都会碰到,而且都具有紧迫感。但是剧团有大小,家底有厚薄,地域有差别,所以在一致思变的大前提下,各团的问题、思考、求索和所进行的实验并不一样。我们将北京人艺这次座谈会上的部分发言摘要发表出来,并以此为始,开展‘新时期剧团之路’的探讨。大家可以开阔思路,从时代使命出发,无论从宏观的角度谈话剧的传统与创新,还是具体谈剧院艺术生产、经营管理等问题的革新皆可。希望有志于探讨此问题的剧院团领导及其他人士不吝赐稿。
June 6 this year, Beijing People’s Art Theater, taking the opportunity of summing up the work of nearly 10 years, invited experts from outside the hospital to help sum up the gains and losses and explore the way for future development. In the past ten years, great progress has been made in politics, economy and culture in our country. How can the work of theatrical troupe and the artistic thinking be maintained at an unshakable level? The benevolence of Beijing is precisely in adapting to the changes of the times and has obtained new developments. New progress has been made. However, such a traditional and benevolent theater like Beiren Art, not only has to inherit the traditional characteristics of reservation, but also explore new ways for development. It is by no means easy. In this issue, the opinions inside the theater are not the same, and there are also different reflections from the experts outside the forum. How to inherit and innovate, how to get out of a new road to survival and development in the new era of drama, not only are we going to encounter these problems, but also have a sense of urgency. However, the size of the troupe, the thickness of the family background, and the differences between the regions make the problems, thinking, searching and experimenting of the various groups different under the premise of unanimity. We published a summary of some of the speeches at the Beijing Art Festival symposium and started the discussion on the road to the theater companies in the new period. We can broaden our thinking and proceed from the mission of the times. Whether we talk about the tradition and innovation of drama from a macro perspective, we can also talk about the innovation of such issues as theater art production and management. The theater troupe leaders and others who aspire to explore this issue feel free to give their contribution.
