A recent study published in the recently published British Journal of Cancer (BJC) further questions the argument that electromagnetic fields generated by transmission lines and electrical applications can lead to childhood leukemia. As most studies do not at the end clearly point to the evidence that electromagnetic fields are associated with childhood-susceptible cancers, the safety issue remains unresolved in the small number of households exposed to long-term electromagnetic fields. The National Radiation Protection Commission, set up in Oxfordshire, England, has so far found no valid evidence that “confirmations of exposure to magnetically strong magnetic fields will result in cancer.” Large-scale study of disease trends
