A Japanese company is building a gas storage tank for the Tokyo Gas Corporation, the world’s largest underground LNG tank. The storage of the tank can reach 136,000 kiloliters. The tank has an inner diameter of 64 meters and a depth of 40.4 meters. Installed 48 meters underground, the entire tank will cost 9,000 tons of steel.
