爲着執行中央人民政府政務院‘關於改善各級學校學生健康的决定’和毛主席關於‘健康第一’的指示,武漢大學在改進伙食管理方面,已取得很好成績。各學校應該學習他們的下列經驗: (一)統一全校伙食管理,節省人力物力,克服伙食上的浪費現象。武大過去全校共有六個伙食團,每個伙食團約需四十餘人參加管理,由於分散管理,曾造成人力財力上的浪費。自實行統一伙食管理後,全校只须十多個人參加管理,由於加强管理伙食人的責任心,正確地掌握住經費預算,實行精打細算,就能節省許多的財力,例如一次統一派人下鄉買猪就節省了四千多萬元。用節省的人力財力來改善伙食。 (二)依靠伙房工友,向工友進行思想教育和組織工作,是改善伙食的重要關鍵。過去學生和伙房工友從來不發生什麽關係;管理伙食的人對工友都不信任。自從號召改善伙食以來,該校就把伙房食堂工友都組織起來成立工會,每個會
