为了克服传统的OTDR价格昂贵、难以进行实时监控等缺点,出现了一种新型的基于PC机的OT-DR,它通常由数据采集卡和数据处理软件两大部分构成。采用USB接口来实现外置的数据采集卡与主机之间的通信,既可以避免主机内部电磁噪声对于数据采集的干扰,又可以充分利用USB技术的高速率、热拔插、即插即用的优点,更加方便用户的使用。文中介绍了一种采用Cypress公司的CY7C68013作为USB接口芯片实现外置式OT-DR数据采集卡与主机通信的方法。文中介绍了系统整体设计方案,并对系统的硬件和软件设计分别进行了详细论述,文章最后对于该USB接口进行了性能分析并给出了结论。
In order to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional OTDR, such as being expensive and difficult to monitor in real time, a new type of PC-based OT-DR has emerged.
