Mineral-process mapping (MTM) is used to determine mineral types and process types of ores and also to study the effect of ore composition on their process quality. Uranium deposits in the Kokchetavsk region are found in a variety of rocks. Apatite-uraninite from uranium deposits originating from the basement, uranium from albite, and asphaltic uranium-heavy silicate minerals were all mapped in two types of process: uranium- Carbon and complex rare earth - phosphorus - uranium silicate type. Asphaltic uranium, asphaltic uranium - Titanium uranium and molybdenite - Uranium - Asphaltic uranium ore types are produced in volcanic depressions and near unconformities. The first type belongs to the uranium silicate process type; the second and third types belong to the uranium type which is suitable for carbon.
