清代江南有众多望族,其或在文学上成就显著,一门风雅形成自己独特风格;或位居高官,领时事之潮流。不过这两种家族形态并非一成不变,在一定情况下可以互动而兼容。即在文学上颇有成就的家族,会因文学上的优势而使仕途更为顺畅;而官宦显赫的家族成员也会因充足的财力、雅化的社交,使其生活趋于诗化。在江南家族中,“文”与“宦”形成了良性的互动,因文入宦,由禄而雅。与此同时,大多江南望族由于受地域风尚的影响,又形成了重“文”轻“宦”的特点,苏州陆墓云东韩氏就是其中典型之例。
There are many peasant families in the south of the Qing Dynasty. Their accomplishments in literature are remarkable. They form their own unique style with elegance; or rank among the top officials and lead the trend of current events. However, the two family forms are not static, in some cases can be interactive and compatible. That is, the literary success of the family will lead to a smoother career because of its literary superiority. The prominent family members of the government will also poise their lives for their adequate financial resources and elegant socialization. In Jiangnan family, “Wen ” and “Huan ” formed a benign interaction, due to the text into Huan, from Paul and elegant. At the same time, most of the Jiangnan ethnic families were influenced by the local customs and formed the characteristics of “light”, “light” and “official”.
