落叶松通直挺拔,材质好,生长快,出材率高,是我省主要用材树种之一。我省40年代初期,营造的落叶松人工林已近成熟,据统计,这些森林面积,占我省落叶松人工林总面积的20％左右,由于受树种及立地条件所限,而使不同地位级的林分,成熟期不同。如何能正确地判定,不同地位级的落叶松人工林成熟期,使之合理的主伐利用,是当前经营工作中,一项很重要的问题。为探求这一问题,于1979—1982年,对辽宁东部比较集中的落叶松人工林区进行了调查,现将初步结果整理如下。
