昆明市风光秀美的大观河畔,有一所特殊的学校。那就是融聋儿语言康复、盲聋残疾人义务教育、自聋职业技术教育和特殊教育师资培训为一体的综合性特殊教育单位——昆明盲哑学校。这所有80年校龄的学校现有27个教学班,有白、傣、苗、彝、哈尼、傈僳等云南各民族残疾生,也有来自四川、贵州、福建、广东、浙江等省的盲哑青少年。近年来,这所学校针对学生的残疾情况,除开齐了各门文化课外,还开设了中医推拿按摩、工艺美术、美容美发、服装缝纫剪
