《小学数学课程标准》指出:“动手实践、自主探索与合作交流是学生学习数学的重要方式.数学学习活动应当是一个生动活泼的、主动的和富有个性的过程.”许多教师在课堂教学中大胆尝试,运用小组合作学习的方式改变单一乏味的教学手段,从而实现学习方式的多样化,建立自主、合作、探索等学习机制以提高教学质量,确实收到了良好的教学效果.目前我国小学大部分班级额较大,学生人数较多,采用合作学习方式可以弥补大班额班级授课制的缺点,真正做到面向全体学生、因材施教.
