近代报刊非常突出地运用了“人物传记”的表现形式,在史实互构、古今相系、中西交汇的历史语境中,呈现中国古典资源与中国近代革命运动之间常常为人忽视但又非常重要的联系。有关历史人物题材的改写蕴含着对共同命运的理解和启示,将感时忧国的现实情怀与民族意识融入其中,呈现了国民想象的形成与性别之间的多重书写模式。文章将女杰传记文本的改写段落还原到晚清的情境中,观照其与现实思考之间的关联,辨析晚清革命话语中的“贬男”想象所蕴含的文化心理。
