魏晋时期是历史大变动时期。汉末政治的黑暗腐败及其所造成的社会大动乱,连年不断的战争,朝不保夕、颠沛流离的生活,这一切都使得汉代经学五光十色的神圣光圈黯然失色。登上历史舞台的门阀士族也饱尝了战乱的苦楚,一种人生无常的凄戚之感深深地渗透到他们的意识之中。统治阶级之间尔虞我诈,残酷斗争,政权更替频繁,士人往往成为政治的牺牲品。但是从另一方面看,士人从汉代“名教”的束缚下解脱出来,获得了相对的独立自由。
The Wei and Jin Dynasties are periods of great change in history. The dark corruption of politics in the late Han Dynasty and the social upheaval caused by it, the year-round wars, the unpredictable and displaced lives all overshadowed the colorful sacred aperture of the Han Dynasty. Men and women boarded the stage of history have also experienced the pain of war, a sense of sadness of life impermanence deeply into their consciousness. There is intrigue, ruthless struggle among ruling classes and frequent regime changes. Scholars often become victims of politics. On the other hand, however, the scholars freed themselves from the shackles of the Han Dynasty “Mingjiao” and gained relative independence and freedom.
