(一) 江泽民同志指出:大力加强干部队伍建设,提高广大干部特别是领导干部的素质,是“摆在全党面前的一项刻不容缓的重大任务”。纪检监察干部是党的干部队伍的重要组成部分,在反腐败斗争中肩负着重要职责。地方各级纪检监察领导干部的素质与反腐倡廉工作的水平和效率有着直接关系。干部的素质不仅包含政治素质、政治品格、政治能力和工作水平,还涉及其自身的形象。塑造纪检监察领导干部的良好形象,可以从一个侧面增强党在群众中的威信,使部属和基层广大群众“敬而近之”,从而更好地感召人、贴近人、引导人,更加有效地领导广大干部群众开展反腐倡廉工作。因此,应当引起足够重视,并为之作长期不懈的努力。
