对现实生活的关注和清新自然的喜剧手法的结合,是生活喜剧的主要特征。由长影摄制、王凤奎编导(另一编剧为费明)的《高朋满座》,正是在生活喜剧的创作道路上迈出了可喜的一步,对当今样式感到还很单一,很混杂的中国喜剧是有所启发的。虽然,至今中国喜剧的样式还极不完备,但,从新时期以来,有过对轻喜剧的尝试,如《他俩和她俩》、《睢这一家子》等;有过向讽刺幽默剧的探索,如《小巷名流》、《黑炮事件》、《顽主》等;近年间,也开始出现借用大道具(汽车)以引出笑料的通俗动作喜剧《父子老爷车》等等。这些努力都是可贵的,对于逐步丰富、完善中国喜剧电影的创作多样形态是很必要的。
