Estimation of mutation rates is a prerequisite to compare several genetic changes to mutagenesis. This article describes a method for estimating the rate of mutation in irradiated plants. In this method, the mutation rate was estimated according to M_2 and M_3 generations and was compared with Gaul method (the frequency of M_2 mutation mutation divided by the average special mutation rate of recessive mutation) to estimate the mutation rate of barley seeds The ratio of mutations in each blasts after irradiation was compared.
