江山市石门镇小塘源村因地制宜,从“小”抓起,做足做好扎扫帚的大文章。1999年,全村扎扫帚30万把左右,经济总收入25万元,人均收入600多元,占人均收入1890元的31.8％。地处仙霞岭深山区的小塘源村原是个贫困村,山多田少,木材少,副业少。村民主要经济来源一靠养猪,二靠扎扫帚。近年来,这个村的村民将扎扫帚这门传统手艺发扬光大,全村171户有80％从事扎扫帚的副业。
