孔子曰:“知之者不如好之者,好之者不如乐之者。”兴趣是入门的向导,是成功的动力。但随着知识的日渐增多,语法的日趋复杂,词汇量的日益增多,许多的知识又需要背诵,缺乏真实的语言环境,导致众多学生学习英语的兴趣逐渐衰退,厌学心理逐渐增强,无论是对教师的教还是对学生的学,其负面影响愈来愈大,这种现象在农村中学尤为严重。
Confucius said: “The people who know are not as good as those who are good are not as happy.” “Interest is the guide to getting started, and it is the driving force for success.” However, with the increasing number of knowledge, grammar is becoming more and more complex, and the vocabulary is increasing day by day. Many of the knowledge needs to be memorized and lacks a real language environment. As a result, many students’ interest in learning English gradually declines, and the psychology of boredom gradually increases. The negative impact of the teaching of teachers or of students’ learning is increasing. This phenomenon is particularly serious in rural middle schools.
