For nearly three decades, West German flour mills have changed the 100 kg bags of flour to 50, 25, 10 kg paper bags and 5, 2 (1/2), 1 kg and 0.5 kg small packs for sale. However, with the increase of types of product packaging, some problems are brought about, such as the storage location, the loss of a broken bag and the increase of the wage thus paid. In order to solve these problems, Hamburg Flour Mill built a 2,600-square-meter bagged flour warehouse in the plant pond.
