日本名古屋工业技术试验所切削研究室,用CBN 多晶刀具作了切削淬火钢的试验。切削条件为:V=100~350米/分,进给速度0.1毫米/转,切削深度0.5毫米,刀具几何形状为:安装角45°,前角-6°,刀尖半径0.8毫米,刀刃倒棱-15°×0.1毫米。图1为刀具寿命标准取后面磨损宽度V_B-0.2毫米时的刀具寿命示意图。当切削速度为200米/分时,寿命约30~40分,切削速度为100米/分时,寿命约2-4小时。在刀具后面磨损宽度V_B=0.1毫米时,切削加工面最大光洁度Rmax在5微米以内,刀具截面形状没有明显变化,因而可得到光滑的切削面,
