武进柴油机厂是机械工业部定点生产中小功率柴油机的骨干企业,国家二级企业,主要产品有五菱牌S195、S1100、S1105、S1110单缸柴油机和N385Q、N485Q多缸柴油机,并有电起动、冷凝式、冷凝式电起动等各类型号。其中S195柴油机1982年为首批部优产品;S1110柴油机为该厂专利产品,专利号为:92213362.X。产品畅销国内,并出口印尼、菲律宾、独联体等10多个国家和地区。企业1994年度为机械工业部“百家最大企业”之一;1996年为机械工业部特级安全企业,江苏省先进集体,并在该年通过ISO9002和ISO9001质量体系认证。
