一、废钢资源预测的重要意义 众所周知,当代物质文明离不开钢铁,而废钢是炼钢的重要原料,钢铁工业发达国家钢产量的一半是用废钢作原料生产的,我国钢产量的三分之一也是由废钢生产的。因此,可以说废钢是一种重要的战略资源,废钢工业(包括废钢的回收、加工、利用)已经成为钢铁工业的重要组成部分,被称之为“第二矿业”,占有与采矿业同等重要的地位。一个国家在其钢铁工业发展过程中,尤其是中、后期,很大程度上取决于其废钢工业的发展,废钢工业的地位会越来越突出。
