化妆品是用涂敷、揉擦、喷洒等不同方式涂加于人体面部皮肤表面等处,起保护、清洁、美化作用的一种商品。当前用者日多,品种日繁。可是同时对人体也产生了一些危害,如由化妆品引起的过敏现象及其原因等已有了一些报导,但关于化妆品细菌方面的资料,在我国报导的比较少。为了摸清我市生产的化妆品细菌污染情况,给制定化妆品卫生标准和管理办法提供科学依据,我们于1985年11～12月,对我市六家化妆品工厂生产的化妆品做了细菌学调查,现将结果报告如下。
