Deng Xiaoping emphasized that the past thought of Mao Zedong Thought was the banner of the Chinese revolution and will forever be the banner of China’s cause of socialism and anti-hegemony. We will always hold high the banner of Mao Zedong Thought. The important speech made by the 18th CPC National Congress and General Secretary Xi Jinping series fully affirming and continuing to adhere to the guiding status of Mao Zedong Thought is the correct choice made by the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese people.
