小米草(Echinochloa sp.)为禾本科稗属植物。株高100～140厘米。无叶舌,叶片扁平,叶宽1.8～2.6厘米。根系发达,茎粗0.8～1.2厘米。圆锥花序,小穗长约5亮米。种子椭圆形,千粒重为3,950毫克。播量为1.5～2公斤/亩。在南方,小米草是一种很有发展前途的牧草:1.适口性好,营养价值高,是饲养牛、羊、猪、家禽及鱼的上等青饲料。青草中粗蛋白质含量4.5%,氨基酸含量13.09%,粗纤维4.54%。干草中粗蛋白质含量高达22.5%。
Echinochloa sp. Is a Gramineae Echinochloa. Plant height of 100 to 140 cm. No leaf tongue, flat leaves, leaf width 1.8 ~ 2.6 cm. Roots developed, stem thick 0.8 to 1.2 cm. Panicles, spikelets about 5 bright rice. Seed oval, 1000 grain weight of 3,950 mg. Seeding rate of 1.5 to 2 kg / mu. In the south, millet grass is a promising forage: 1.
