城市更新的主导方向应充分尊重文化特别是传统文化的角色、价值与功用。一座城市在长期发展建设中形成的地域氛围和环境,是一种历史和文化的积淀。城市更新必须考虑地域特点及历史文化背景,千篇一律地模仿他人经验,只能弱化区域竞争力;同时,多个利益相关方之间治理与合作的关系也事关城市更新的成败,只有将各方关系人的眼光拉远,在未来价值和现实效益中找到合作的逻辑支点,才能使更新运动融入城市良性的可持续发展中。
The direction of urban renewal should fully respect the role, value and function of culture, especially traditional culture. A city in the long-term development and construction of the formation of regional atmosphere and environment, is a history and culture of the accumulation. Urban renewal must take into account the geographical characteristics and historical and cultural background, and imitate the experience of other people in a stereotyped manner, which can only weaken the regional competitiveness. Meanwhile, the relationship between governance and cooperation among multiple stakeholders also affects the success or failure of urban renewal. People of distant relation can not get the logistical fulcrum of cooperation in the future value and actual benefit so as to integrate the renewal movement into the benign and sustainable development of the city.
