《大展鸿图》历时30年创作过程

一、巧得桩材三十多年前,新会牛湾、小岗、双水镇“烂头山”多,造就了众多山松佳材,笔者也经常上山挑选,后偶然机会以250元购得一株(注:当时工资33元)。该桩材本不起眼,由于山体崩塌滑坡,粗大树干被山泥覆盖,只现四条大小不等且杂乱无章的枝条,挖桩者曾听说山松林型难求,以林型开挖,去表土后才发现怪桩形态(见图1)。
