热工测量和热平衡计算表明:糠醛渣绝热板的保温效果好于纸浆绝热板;现行生产中用Fx7.1模浇注的7.7吨锭,加20公斤柳毛石墨保温效果较差,柳毛石墨加入量增加到30公斤或加20公斤柳毛石墨后再覆盖2公斤膨胀蛭石保温效果大大改善,顶面热损失由27~38%可减少到7~8%;头部钢锭模蓄热量约占40~57%,板下肩部有较大的散热强度;解剖钢锭发现在致密金属层下有不同程度的二次缩孔存在;合理模型选择、强化头部保温以及二次缩孔对钢材质量的影响尚须进一步研究。
