Deyeuxia angustifolia is a representative plant in the Sanjiang Plain and an excellent forage plant. Based on the fractal theory, the paper discusses the relationship between aboveground biomass and plant height of Populus simonii population in the Sanjiang Plain, and reveals that aboveground biomass Accumulation and spatial distribution and growth process. The results show that there is a fractal feature between the two, which has a self-similar rule. The fractal dimension values of D were 1169, 1674, 2065, 1843 respectively from June to September. The D value was 1.73 in the whole growing season. The results indicated that the biomass accumulation and its spatial distribution of Populus simonii population was a fractal growth process and obeyed the rule of D value growth. The mature plants can be seen as the initial growth of plants grown by the growth and formation.
