我省丘陵旱地植蔗面积约占总面积的60%,其自然条件差、病虫害多,单产低,是当前甘蔗生产上急待解决的问题。因此,积极设法提高丘陵旱地甘蔗的产量和亩含糖量,已是摆在科研人员面前的一项重要研究任务。1977年我所与龙海县步文公社翁建大队合作,进行了“丘陵旱地秋植高产高糖试验”。面积1.24亩,品种为粤糖57/423,77年9月17日播种,79年3月3日砍收。经省、地县、糖厂及社队等11个单位派代表实地验收,结果:平均茎高382厘米,茎粗3.30厘米,亩
The sugarcane area in the hilly drylands of our province accounts for about 60% of the total area, with poor natural conditions, many pests and diseases, and low yield per unit area, which is an urgent problem to be solved in the current sugarcane production. Therefore, actively trying to improve the yield of sugarcane in hilly drylands and the amount of mu sugar has been placed in front of an important research task.
