Skiing in Heilongjiang While spring has come to most parts of China, it is the best time for skiing in Heilongjiang Province. On March 17, the Eighth Heilongjiang International Skiing Festival was opened at the Jihua Skiing Ground in Harbin. At the opening ceremony, such colorful and dynamic shows as cartoon characters skiing on single skis, a ballet on snow and skiing in bathing suits showed people the romance and energy of spring skiing.
