近年来，在蔬菜生产中，已出现缺钙症状，如西红柿裂果病，脐腐病，大白菜干烧心等。为了积累蔬菜增施钙肥的经验，丰南市农业局从1988年开始做蔬菜施钙试验、示范，结果表明，蔬菜施用钙肥，增产效果明显，同时对防治一些病害也有一定作用。供试蔬菜为西红柿、青帮叶大白菜。
