吴承洛是中国化学会的一位创建人和组织者,曾多次被推选为中国化学会的书记、总干事、会长、理事长。他按照理事会决议,在发展学会、组织年会、创办刊物、化学普及等方面,做出了不少贡献。(一)吴承洛字涧东,1892年出生在福建浦城县。1915年于北京清华学校(清华大学前身)毕业后赴美留学,先后在理海大学、哥伦比亚大学学习和深造,以化学工程为主,理论化学为辅,兼学机械工程和工业管理。
Wu Chengluo is a founding member and organizer of the Chinese Chemical Society. He has been repeatedly elected as secretary, director general, president and chairman of the Chinese Chemical Society. In accordance with the resolution of the council, he made a lot of contributions to the Development Society, the organization of annual meetings, the establishment of journals, and the popularization of chemistry. (A) Wu Cheng Luo word Jian East, born in 1892 in Pucheng County, Fujian Province. After graduating from Tsinghua University in Beijing (predecessor of Tsinghua University) in 1915, he went to the United States to study in the United States. He studied and advanced at Lihai University and Columbia University. He mainly studied chemical engineering and theoretical chemistry, and also studied mechanical engineering and industrial management.
