Shingles is a viral dermatitis characterized mainly by herpes zoster and neuralgia along the peripheral nerves caused by varicella-zoster virus. From 1997 to 2000, I used a combination of negative ion UV spray and acyclovir in the treatment of herpes zoster 16 8 cases, the results are as follows: Clinical data 16 8 patients were from out-patient and ward. There were 72 males and 96 females. The biggest year
