埃塞俄比亚法律制度深受欧洲文化的影响,属于受大陆法系法律文化影响较深的国家之一。埃塞俄比亚民法典由法国比较法学家制定,主要是对欧洲法律思想的继受,其财团制度较具特色,既有体现先进立法技术的一面,也有一些缺陷。
Ethiopia’s legal system is deeply influenced by European culture and belongs to one of the countries deeply influenced by the legal culture of the civil law system. The Ethiopian Civil Code, drawn up by French comparative jurists, is mainly the continuation of the European legal thought. Its consortium system is more distinctive. It not only embodies the advanced legislative aspects but also has some shortcomings.
