中国船空遥感服务公司引进合成孔径侧视雷达后,先后为湖南省遥感中心、地质矿产部、水电部、国家地震局等单位的遥感部门提供雷达勘测服务。提供江河、湖泊、山地、城镇、岛屿等的侧视雷达图像,供其进行应用研究。对侧视雷达进行初步解译分析可以看出:航空侧视雷达图像在地质构造、岩性分析、工程选址、河湖演变研究和地形地质成图诸方面都可提供有价值的信息。特别是它可以全天候作业不受天气和时间的限制,比起可见光和红外波段的遥感有其独特的长处。湖南省遥感中心首先与中国航空遥感服务公司协作试验航空侧视雷达图像的应用。1984年10月首次在
