王健美籍华人艺术家。1958年生于大连。十岁开始学习绘画,1986年赴美国学习绘画,1994年,获加利福尼亚州立大学艺术硕士学位。自1987年在美国举办第一次个人画展,王健在旅美20多年间,在纽约、华盛顿、旧金山、洛杉矶、亚特兰大、圣地亚哥、萨克拉曼陀等城市相继举办了50多次个人展览。王健的作品被美术馆、美国各级政府部门、大学、企业及私人收藏千余幅作品。
Wang Jian American Chinese artist. Born in Dalian in 1958. At the age of ten began to learn painting, went to the United States in 1986 to study painting, in 1994, received a master’s degree in art from California State University. Since his first solo exhibition in the United States in 1987, Wang Jian has held more than 50 solo exhibitions in cities such as New York, Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, San Diego and Sacramento over more than 20 years. His works have been collected by art galleries, government departments, universities, enterprises and private individuals in the United States at more than a thousand works.
