第三是住房制度改革。住房的建设将要成为中国经济新的增长点,但是我们必须把现行的福利分房政策改为货币化、商品化的住房政策,让人民群众自己买房子。整个房改方案已酝酿3年多。我们准备今年下半年出台新的政策,停止福利分房、住房分配一律改为商品化。 ——摘自国务院总理朱镕基3月19日的答记者问
The third is the housing system reform. Housing construction will be a new growth point for China’s economy. However, we must change the existing welfare housing distribution policy into a monetization and commercialized housing policy and let the masses buy their own houses. The entire housing reform program has been brewing more than 3 years.
