按照英特尔公司的Tick-Tock战略,去年发布了全新架构的Haswell第四代酷睿处理器之后,今年应该再推出制程工艺进一步提升的14纳米处理器——Broadwell。然而在Broadwell问世之前,英特尔却出人意料地推出了一系列Haswell Refresh版产品(我们姑且称之为Haswell升级版吧),原本应该伴随Broadwell一起出现的9系列芯片组平台也提前问世了。
Following Intel Corp.’s Tick-Tock strategy, last year’s announcement of a completely new Haswell 4th-generation core processor, Broadwell, the 14nm processor with further advances in manufacturing processes, should be introduced this year. However, before Broadwell came out, Intel unexpectedly launched a series of Haswell Refresh products (let’s call it Haswell Plus), and the 9-series chipset platform, which should have come along with Broadwell, came out ahead of schedule.
