千年桐系异花授粉,实生千年桐雄树比率较高(据调查约占半数),存在单株产量高,单位面积产量低的问题。从1979年开始,本县千年桐生产发展很快,在嫁接苗供不应求的情况下,又营造了近万亩实生千年桐林。
