历时3天的西藏自治区第六届中学生田径运动会暨自治区第八届少年田径运动会,1998年8月中旬在拉萨市体育场降下帷幕。 举行此项赛事,旨在推动西藏全区的学校体育工作,提高少年田径运动竞技水平,增强学生体质,为优秀运动队选拔人才创造条件。 此项赛事是由西藏自治区教委、自治区体委主办,拉萨市教育体育委员会承办的,设跳高、跳远、铅球、铁饼、标枪和60—5000米径赛,4×
The 6th Middle School Track and Field Sports Meet in the Tibet Autonomous Region and the 8th Juvenile Track and Field Sports Meet in the Tibet Autonomous Region lasted for 3 days. The stadium was staged in Lhasa City Stadium in mid-August 1998. The event was held to promote school sports in Tibet, improve junior athletics athletics, enhance students’ physical fitness, and create conditions for elite sports team selection. This event is sponsored by the Education Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region and the Sports Commission of the Autonomous Region and organized by the Lhasa Education and Sports Committee.
