随着新课程的改革,大家在努力实现“在语文教学中必须充分发挥学生的主体能动性,增强学生的参与、交流、合作意识”。而在实现这项改革中,作为学生进行参与、交流、合作时的思想载体——语言就显得更加重要。但是,在平时的课堂教学中,经常会发现都是几个尖子生争相发言,绝大多数学生心甘情愿地充当“听众”。即使被迫发言也是吞吞吐吐,声音很轻;表述自己的意见时,词不达意、条理不清、疙疙瘩瘩;有的干脆站立不语。而我们知道,绝大多数学生口头表达能力的高低与思维能力的强弱成正比。要学生写出好作文,就必须培养学生的口头表达能力,因为听—说—读—写是一个循序渐进、相互联系的整体。

And we know that the vast majority of students verbal ability is directly proportional to the strength of thinking ability. To write a good essay for students, we must develop students’ verbal ability, because listening, speaking, reading and writing are a gradual and interconnected whole.
