现代园艺教育的本质是将教育视为一项造人的工程,其目的是培养理性思想的信仰者、捍卫者和传播者,以服务于理性设计的秩序社会,并确保这种秩序社会和园艺教育自身的再生产。现代园艺教育建立和发展的根基是理性及其设计秩序,在园艺文化土壤中,作为园丁的教师被赋予“造园”的权力和监控的职能,学生成为被规训的对象。面对流动的现代性社会的来临,走出园艺教育桎梏的探索在于构建师生平等、价值多元、不断生成的教育共同体。
