前不久在加拿大听到一个故事,让我沉思良久:一位从北京移民加拿大多伦多的朋友,有一次在高速公路上突然发现汽车没油了,只好抛锚在路边等候救援。很快,相关政府部门就送来了汽油,非常及时,且分文不收。事后他逢人就说,在这里即使交再多的税,也心甘情愿,因为这个政府是真正为人民服务的。的确,对政府来说,人民的利益应该高于一切。事实上,中国共产党从诞生的那一天起,就心系劳苦大众。然而,最近两个月,国内发生了多起非常严重的群体事件,究其原因,就是某些地方执政者严重偏离了人民的根本利益。
Not long ago I heard a story in Canada and made me ponder for a long time: a friend who immigrated to Beijing from Toronto, Canada, once suddenly found his car was out of fuel on the highway and was forced to wait for assistance in the roadside. Soon, the relevant government departments sent gas, very timely, and no sub-text. Afterwards, he told everybody that even if he paid more taxes here, he would be willing because the government is really serving the people. Indeed, for the government, the interests of the people should be above all else. In fact, from the very day the birth of the Communist Party of China, the working-class people are struggling. However, in the recent two months, there have been many very serious mass incidents in the country. The reason is that the rulers in some places have deviated from the fundamental interests of the people seriously.
