说起风光秀丽、人杰地灵的北京延庆,八达岭长城、龙庆峡、海坨山、古崖居等已在许多人的脑海里留下了深刻的印象。但以往,延庆县只有1个律师事务所、几名注册律师,农村法律服务力量比较薄弱。延庆县农村人口约20万,占全县总人口的71%,为有效地维护广大农民、特别是农村弱势群体的利益,延庆县司法局公益法律服务体系于2006年11月1日正式启动,在全市率先开始以政府购买服务的方式,对农村弱势群体如五保户、低保户、孤儿、孤寡老人、残障人士寻求法律服务的案件,免费提供法律服务,维护了弱势群体的合法权益。
