清末民初,中国留学教育呈现出一种多元化的新格局,这种趋向适于建构多层次的知识结构和合理的专业门类,并有助于提升整个教育水准,亦适应了中国国情和现代化发展的需要。此特征乃是中国教育近代化最为显著的标识之一。
At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, China’s education for overseas students showed a new pattern of pluralism. This tendency was suitable for constructing multi-level knowledge structure and reasonable professional categories, and also helped to raise the overall standard of education. It also adapted to China’s national conditions and modernization Development needs. This feature is one of the most significant marks in the modernization of education in China.
