有关高羊茅、结缕草的实验研究发现 ,草坪草的抗旱性与其根系的增深、增大密切相关。不同种或品种的草坪草 ,其抗旱机制不尽相同 ,抗旱能力也有差异。高羊茅靠增深根系 ,从土壤深层吸收更多的水分来维持其较高的蒸散率 ,达到抗旱的目的。结缕草具较低的蒸散率 ,以保持体内水分平衡 ,线性梯度灌溉研究表明 ,不同品种的结缕草所需额外灌水是不同的 ,其种内部存在着遗传上的差异。选择节水草种能够节水 50 % ,甚至更多。
The experimental study on tall fescue and zoysiagrass found that the drought resistance of turfgrass was closely related to its root deepening and increasing. Different species or varieties of turf grass, its drought-resistant mechanisms vary, drought tolerance are also different. Tall fescue rely on deepening the root system, absorb more water from the deep soil to maintain its high evapotranspiration rate, to achieve the purpose of drought. Zoysia has lower evapotranspiration in order to maintain body water balance, linear gradient irrigation studies have shown that different varieties of Zoysia extra irrigation is required, there are genetic differences within the species. Choose water-saving grass to save 50% water, or even more.
